To the aliens who will one day visit Earth:
Littleton, Colorado may seem like seem just another spec in the great expanse of the Earth. But really, Littleton is a unique gem full of many facets waiting to be discovered.
There is the downtown itself, a quaint and elegant place full of small boutiques and tucked away treasures. You can shop for souvenirs in the General Store, discover human generosity at Angel Concepts, indulge in the spicy chocolates of the Chocolate Therapist, or just lounge on the roof of Merle’s. The downtown marries that happy mix of bustling city life and quiet small town – you’ll never have a dull moment, but comfort will always be right at hand! If you want to study human behavior, look no further than this oasis. The people of Littleton are among the friendliest in the world and will be happy to make you feel right at home. Be sure to look out for their four-legged companions! “Dogs” (also known as “Canine Americans”, “borkos”, and “puppers”) are the most beloved creatures on Earth. Even humans consider them to have superior levels of empathy and friendliness!
If human study isn’t your forte, have no fear – the scenery around Littleton is some of the most breathtaking in Colorado. Take a picnic up to Jackass Hill and admire the view of the skyline, or go for stroll in one of the many parks. Be sure to pack your layers; thanks to the four seasons of Colorado, Littleton experiences all the season’s wonders. The snow in the winter is perfect for sledding or for building snowmen. Or, if you prefer the warm weather, you can participate in the human game of throwing discus (“ultimate frisbee”) or smacking ball (“volleyball”).
But if you can only stay for one day, then there is one must you have to witness. The sunsets of Littleton are unlike any of those in the rest of the galaxy. Even for the natives who see them every day, each sunset is a magical experience. Be sure to capture the setting sun – it will be a moment you will treasure forever.
Best Wishes and Safe Travels!
